Dear Lexi ( aka WiseDog) I inhabit the same house as a Cat, ( i was here 1st ) Where I am the 1 who gives love/comfort and understanding unconditionally 2 my humans.. I hurd about U thru a series of tell-lep-a thee talks with well respected friends, your posts have helped so many, I turn 2 U at this time with my problem… Call it ,, seperation Ang -Z I it T,… When My humans leave, I am stuck with only My thawts and Fluffy, She is a, self centered demanding Jerk, She has no regard 4 My humans po-zes-shuns, She is very crafty and makes messes and broken dishes ,look like I am 2 blame, . I try 2 explain, 2 her that she is being Bad, but she says, ” As a Cat,,Rules don’t apply 2 her, so scrue’em..” ” THEY WORK 4 ME”… What can I do? Rex Dear Rex, Thanks 4 the kind words ,Your problem is not new, Cats have been messin/blamein Dogs 4 stuff , sinceThe mistake of their creation was 1st made, The 1st thing U must do is Look In-o cent, when your humans ask ” who did this?”, Do not lower your eyes or, look away , head up and smile ..if liquid is involved or not,, make shure Fluffy is wet, ,( Use your imagination ) Fluffy cleans herself with her tongue, She’ll remember, This is a good practice always,and u have a height/distance advantage, practice your aim hit her only…,, also your tail can cause unexpected damage, Practice Short wags upon their return, this will he sell your ” It’s not Me “story If fluffy is an In door cat, , figure out a way to open a door,, after she is gone, the accidents will stop and your Humans will realize it was her all along, She will B mad, if she is found, do not help them look 4 her,, U might have 2 N-dure a few Painful scratches, But GirlDogs Respect scares , and will C U as a smart studDog,, , as 4 being lonely, a good chewtoy and an old sock can help..
