Todays Question… , When i ‘m searching for the prefect resting position , i turn around many times before I land, I have been asked by My humans countless times,, why this is necessary ? Just because They are Human somehow gives them the Right to critique My actions, This a an invasion of my Doginal ( it’s like personal) Space/life…..Do I even suggest, that they shouldn’t put their bodies in any positions , other than what they choose?( this statement does not apply to positioning of their bodies when sleeping in the Big bed)………… Suffice it to say I have My reasons for these turns,, Never has it occurred to them, the softening effect of a Paw, or the realignment/placement of padding, to accommodate the different contours of my body,,, They just laugh… .. What part of “Getting comfortable” don’t/do they understand ? I wonder what it would be like if the Fur was on the other Paw

Trust your nose….when getting acquainted. it is customary to inspect the new Dogs scenting area… Butt…..Some Dogs are very Difficult to get to know,… I have found things go smoother If you display a willingness to receive a sniff..and appear Slightly Submissive/passive While maintaining your dignity…Most of the time this will encourage the New Dog to relax..Like Today…. Lou Lou. came by with an old friend of Daddogs ,She seemed nice ( Sniffs were exchanged)..and She might develop into a frontyard friend..Now I’m not a judgmental Dog..BUT.. Lou Lou was wearing a very tight ( form-fitting) coat, very smooth,.and she had a ridge of longer Hair right down Her back… This would not be My first choice, but it seemed to work for Her…introductions went well..I was alittle disappointed to find Her to be Female..Boy Dogs seem much more interesting to Me.. But..Hey,, I Girl can always use a New Friend…. Next time I’ll have to remember to ask Her if She sheds…Time for Pets…
